I'm not allowed to have it,sulking!

Should have bought a house with a bigger driveway. 4 cars is not enough space!

This has 'Shed of the Week' written all over it. I need to email Pistonheads now!

This car is now on my drive......

My first toe dip into MB classics after about 4.5 years away.

She's a beauty. Clean as a whistle and goes like a train. The 120 mile drive home was very pleasant and she did high 20s with the cruise control on at an indicated 70mph - clear roads other than a small bit of stop/start on the M25 around Heathrow.

What a MASSIVE car though! Makes my E39 tourer look small.

Well done! Looked like a bargain at the original £800.00 - what did you pay for it in the end (if you don't mind my asking)?!

Let's put it this way...... The discount he allowed me just about pays for a year's classic insurance!

My intention was to clean it all up, but the inside is pretty much immaculate and the body is really tidy. The service history it has is something to behold! It's had about £4k spent on engine and other mech stuff in the last 4 years.

The sound it makes is pure audio porn.

At a guess then, i reckon you got it for about £650.00 :D In any case, sounds like an absolute steal!!

Oddly enough, I bought a 500SEC from this very same chap from ebay back in 2005/6. Didn't realise until we were on the way to his house.
