1990 190E 2.5-16 Getrag Manual

Some photos of my favourite 190E. This is a good original car, less than 100K miles and a full MBSH. The previous owner spent nearly £4K on the last single visit to MB a while ago. Spec is slightly different to my '89 Auto - this car has an outside temperature guage, heated front seats and electric drivers seat. 5-speed manual Getrag gearbox with dogleg layout (1st gear is down to the left, 2nd and 3rd are a straight throw )

I've had this car for nearly 2 years, not sure if I'll ever part with it if I'm honest.

Taken at an MBClub GTG last year (sorry to the OP, can't remember who took these pics?)

A couple more of the engine bay, clean but needs finishing at some point (bracket for SLS pump etc)

Spring Clean

I think I did this the wrong way round..

Went to the GTG earlier today, came home and then spent the afternoon cleaning and waxing

Have treated all the leather (seats/wheel/gearshift), cleaned/treated all of the rubber and plastic trims, cleaned/polished all of the door shuts/flitches/around the boot etc, waxed the wheels, dressed the tyres etc. Still has the 'patina of age' (it's twenty years old), but comes up very nicely IMHO. Camera flash seems to show up every fingerprint and stone chip!

Anyway, it was getting dark, and I was a bit tired/hungry - so excuse the not so great pics. I'll try and take some better ones next weekend.

Updates since the last photos include refurbished wheels with new tyres (Amazing Alloys)
