This thread is for QUIGO who has this as a question:

''Not a reply but struggling to post a question regarding my 1990 190 e automatic regarding steering lock replacement for an automatic''

Does he need help on how to do it?
I don't know. What I've quoted is all they wrote. Maybe a how-to question or maybe a where-can-I-buy one. Hopefully they will see this thread and can elaborate. It was stuck in the middle of Jaymanek's Ad-Blue thread - better here I think.

It's relatively easy to get the lock barrel out if that's what you mean. There are two small holes 180 Deg apart on the face of the barrel. No doubt there is a special tool but if you push two lengths of stiff steel rod down those holes, the barrel can be pulled out. The key has to be a certain position when you pull, and I forget which but that should be easy enough to figure out by trial and error

I think it is one click round from being fully off , but that is without looking it up
