Was browsing/tidying photos on my pc and came across this photo. What a shot and how beautiful all these cars look like. I had made it as a poster decorating my bedroom as a teenager.

I have found the original article pages as images but all in german unfortunately.

Am i right in thinking M5, 190e Cosworth, Lotus Carlton and Alpina B10?

I think the second one is a 500e

E34 M5, w124 E500, Lotus Omega (Carlton UK) and E34 Alpina B10 Bi-turbo. They had 315bhp, 326bhp, 377bhp and 360bhp respectively. In terms of 0-62 again in that order from left to right 6.5sec, 6.8sec, 5.3sec and 5.6sec

These figures were really special for 1991. Considering my e55 is 5.4sec now the Lotus Omega was faster especially as the speeds would increase. I remember also having an article on a special edition autocar I think when they went to visit brabus in Botrot and took a lotus carlton. On a long straight they raced from start the e39 (400bhp) M5 against the lotus and at just over 120mph the lotus was car lengths ahead. Need to find that magazine.

Strangley the Vaxuhall looks the most modern by todays standards...

Ok, since you like them just note the family cars shot! The wife seems dead excited in the Alpina.
