Hey folks. My 1st yr of ownership has just passed. It's time for a service along with Most and Tax.
I don't trust my local merc dealer here and specialist are in brum so roughly 70-80 miles round trip.
Local garage that I used to fit a new radiator (well known in scooby and evo circles for full engine, upgrades and one of guys there runs s500 plus the owner has an Aladin cave of car wonders) Quoted me £546 for full service which includes engine oil, transmission oil and filter change (which are from mercedes) and 4 hours labour.
The car has 106000km and has done roughly 8000km since last service.

What's your thoughts.

£546 for basically fluids & filters sounds expensive to me. The last main dealer service on mine was £125 with me supplying the oil from Costco. The major service before that (including plugs, air & fuel filters, brake fluid replacement, fob battery, etc.) was £524.

524 seems good for that plus sparks.
Brake fluid was done in October when I changed brake pads.
This is for transmission oil too. Maybe take that off. Need to look through service history and see when it was last done.

From memory I paid about £150 for a gearbox drain/flush/refill at a main dealer. But I do get a sizeable labour discount from them, because of the age of the car.
