bought this little thing to keep me busy over the summer. Had a few in the past , last one being 7 years ago.

    1992 Limited edition Rivage - Green, 165K

its been neglected, loads of owners who didnt have a clue by the looks of it , folder full of receipts for all the work done over the years by non-spcialist garages.

Bodywork is pretty good for the year, and has had paintwork in the past, some small rust bubbles on one wing other than that all good.
All electrics work as they should, roof is immaculate, electric windows, heated seats and electric roof all good, original wheels supplied albeit a little kerbed - these will get refurbed tho.

now the bad bits - most of which i pointed out to the seller to hit the correct price point :)
    - brakes judder badly
    - engine is pinking and has flat spots and has an oil leak
    - clutch pedal sits too high
    - leather interior is knackered - i personally think the original has been nicked at some point as the carpet is not the right color, steering wheel is not leather, handbrake leather cover missing leathers look like they have been sitting in the elements and are cracked and hard. Last thing that gave it away was the door cards had some BLUE overspray.
    - interior mirror missing
    - couple of bulbs blown in dash\switches
    - coilovers which make the ride really hard.

all pretty minor DIY fixes really

i`ll keep this thread updated with its progress :)

first step is to clear the garage to make space for it.

so my first job this weekend was to sort the brakes out

Drove the car back 300 miles with the judder, almost undrivable!

Ordered some PAgid disks and pads from ECP

i did get a little stuck when i started the other side and was faced with this

together with a rounded odd top bolt on the pad carrier, hammered a slightly bigger torx and got it off though without too much trouble. Just shows the quality of the work by some of the past owners or garages they used.

    judder now gone :)
