1993 w124 280TE metallic dark grey spares or repair, may break if enough interest

The head gasket has just gone on my K reg 280TE and the repair costs are more than I paid for the car. So unless I can find a cheap mechanic to repair it, it’s up for sale

Here’s the spec

Dark metallic grey, bodywork has a few scratches and small dents but the only rot on the whole car is a small amount on the front wings.

The car has a full cream leather 7 seater interior, the driver bolster is a little tatty but the rest is in great condition.

The car had electric windows, mirrors and sunroof, Air conditioning, headlight washers etc

The car still has 11 months mot on it and 5 months tax

It drove perfectly prior to the head gasket going

The 2.8 litre engine ran smoothly and the auto box changed perfectly in both economy and sport modes. It still runs but has a misfire and the header tank is full of an oil and water mixture. The heater hose is also split this is what drew my attention to the head gasket problem

I'm after £400 for the car just to cover what it owes me, I can deliver for a sensible price anywhere in Essex.
