Thank goodness.

i have been looking (and now found) a w124 convertible for 2 years and this dog kept popping up, you usually buy a w124 because you like how it looks and dont buy a clk because of how it looks so why combine the pair

stupid car, stupid conversion

2 years they have been trying to flog this

it's like having a dog with 2 a r s e s and no head.

Oh well, only one to go now.perhaps Barry will stack it up for us.

I saw one with Dash at a GTG a few years ago. Thought it was just a 210 at first then I saw the sacrilege. It quite put me of my pint.

Come on then, who likes it?!?! :D

I used to see one (meybe the same one) very often when I lived in Dalston

At the time it looked cool, but so did Max power magazines

Nice enough colour and interior, but who are Rude Mercs and why do they elicit such a reaction?

Rude Mercs were an East London car dealership in the 80/90's that used to specialise in buying old 190's and blinging them up.They are/were based on the corner of Cambridge Heath Road and Bethnal Green Road in London E2.

They also did a few SEC's etc. The majority were bought by wannabee gangsters/drug dealers and east london wide boys at large mark-ups.

The site now deals in Nissan Figaro's mainly and chinese scooters.

Its actually quite tasteful based on some of the stuff they produced

Although in fairness to them the style they produced was very much a sign of the times for the 80's and 90's

Blimey. Who'd have the balls to drive that apart from wide boys and gangstas

At that time the place was awash with loadsamoney types with more dosh than discernment.

Did they do a (taste aside) decent job?

You are right about the money around at the time. The 190's used to sell for around the 15-20k mark.

They would do a bespoke job for you if you wished and the work was pretty good.

Moved onto Rudebimmers (BMW) as well.

i think i like it,
