Here we have a fantastic example of a W124 E280, one of the last of these shape vehicles.
The car is in fantastic condition for it's age. It drives smoothly, with perfect gear changes and the engine is silky smooth and quiet. The interior is fantastic as well and looks and feels superb.
The bodywork for the age is fantastic, I have just had fitted two brand new wings by Cleveland Body and Paint due to slight rusting on the arches. Old panels are available for inspection if you wish to see them. The panels came directly from Mercedes Benz of Teesside and are brand new genuine items. The front bumper has some minor marks, and the sunroof has two ever such slight blisters. This car is 90% better than most rusting W124's out there for information.
The car does not have air-conditioning to be clear, but is fitted and has never had changed the original Blaupunkt head unit, with fully working aerial.
It has both original keys with it, and all supporting paperwork from new. The original plates come with the car which match the original rear window sticker.
The car is the facelift E280 model which has 2.8 L M104 engine which produced 193 hp (142 kW) at 5500 rpm. Max torque was 270 N·m or 199 ft/lbs at 3750 rpm.
