Car
A160,(W169) previously 300TE - 300CE, E280TE
A friend of mine is selling his 1994 S600 two door
less than 130,000 miles
3 owners
Good original condition, no paintwork damage
Inside good
Everything works
Taxed and Tested

What do you guy think the valuation range is...........I know that it is difficult without more details and photos................but I just need an idea

between £3,000 - £6,000 IMHO

Depends on colour and spec, these were the pre facelift versions with out parking sensors but raising bars and also the climate control was quite raw in design..

high miles, semi high owners... so this would bring it lower, but condition will aid value etc..

history file and paperwork again will help

Searching the Forum and reading the very negative reports about nose heavness, ABC system, electrical faults, fuel consumption etc., etc.

Has anyone got anything good to say about the S600

Maybe he is better breaking it or driving it to the nearest breaker.......but the car is in good nick and has been looked after

this would be an interesting au****ahn stormer ...

don't break it up .. what a shame

Yes, 12 very good things :D

We need to start a "homeless club" for Pre 1996 Mercs.....the big engined exotic stuff that is not worth much.

Then rent them out

Anyone up for it

The feeling you get when you drive one is still one of the best...truly KING of the road.

Not much to find in the MB Club Gazette small ads, but, for what it's worth there have been three cars at asking prices of £10000 (128k), £7950 (115k) and £6950 (141k). That list goes back several years, and my impression is that in private sales the model is now down to well under £5000, with some under £3000. Specialist dealers will continue to present them at silly prices, but I guess the world is weaning itself off the appeal of the monster 12 . . . except the Russians, of course. Personally, I shall continue to admire from afar.

Looks to me as though it is only worth about £2,000 max in a fire sale - it is T & T and in goodish nick but it has been stood for just over six months, albeit garaged

Bill, in my experience people slate the S600 without ever owning one. All I can say is that they drive like a £100k car, and look like a £100k car with fantastic build quality. People are frightened of ownership costs and will not take the plunge and buy one. When you do.....you realise what heaven on wheels is. :D
Fantastic Machine, cheap to buy and insure, expensive to fuel, which is offset by zero depreciation. I love them.:bannana:

I'm not renting mine out, nobody but nobody drives my baby except for me!

I think that I will "give it a whirl" if I can buy it for under £2,500, plus I need to drive it back from the French Riviera, which will cost mega money in Fuel etc.,
Great to compare it with my 602cc 2CV!!!!!!!!
