1995 Mercedes Benz 500sl

I also have a 95 500sl I replaced the starter on it but the car still wont start, it lights up and all but wont crank please help.

To clarify...before replacing the starter motor was it starting/not starting?

If it wasn't starting it could well have been the Crank Shaft Position sensor rather than the starter motor.

Have you also checked the condition of your battery?
