Hi All
Had my SLK go into get you home mode the other day. Ended up paying the usual small fortune to to get the code read to find out there wasn't much of a problem just a dirty air sensor, which they kindly cleaned for me. I'm sure i could have managed that if i'd have been able to read the code in the first place. I've done one on my brothers A4 with a reader he bought but that was a 2005 car with the standard post 2001 connector.
so can i do it, what do i need and where's the connector I'm told its under the bonnet on the earlier SLK's and may be a 38 pin connector (so i'd guess i'd need some sort of adapter)
hope this makes sense
