Just got a 1996 vito 2.3 l diesel from my old man. It had been sitting in hes garage for a while now, because one day hea was driving home and suddenly the engine started making an awful noise and instant lack of power. He told me that hea had checked the injectors and the fuel lines and they were okay. He also checked the engine for malfuctions and serious damage. Could it be that the timing is wrong and its misfiring and what could be the cause of that? Also have heard something about a o-ring on the high pressure fuel pump, that could be worn and theres extra air sucked into the pump and thats why the engine is cluttering? Could make a video or something of how it sounds over the weekend.
