Never trust eBay photos! There are some marks and a dent that don't show up apparantly - the hood isn't original either.

Average miles for it's year I suppose.

Still want a black one if I bother at all.

MERCEDES SL 60 AMG 1 OFF ONLY 48 CARS IN THE COUNTRY THE BEST OF THE SL129 RANGE.

It's a "1 OFF" but there are allegedly 48 of them. How does that work please?

I mean technically speaking my car is also a one-off because there is genuinely no other car like it in the world, but it's not significantly different to any other W202

If he couldn't sell it for £18000 in the summer he is going to struggle to get and extra £2000 in the winter
With that mileage it's worth about book price ie. £13000 - £15000

The silver one here is probably worth £17k at most.

nickg's SL60 is much better .. less than a third of the mileage, immaculate, fast and in great condition. I know, I have seen it and driven it. Incredibly comfortable. Lovely car. I have said he should not sell it

This one is very low spec too - no xenons, heated seats, folding mirrors or any wood in it. If the wheels are fake it gets worse!

As much as I like R129s I know how Nick feels and fancy a change myself in a way. Would like to do the SL60 or SL73 first though!

nickg's SL60 is much better .. less than a third of the mileage, immaculate, fast and in great condition. I know, I have seen it and driven it. Incredibly comfortable. Lovely car. I have said he should not sell it
