1997 SLK230 Kompressor

My son-in-law’s car is well down on performance, which seems to point to the kompressor. However, it seems it’s too old for current diagnostic software, but too new to be diagnosed without. OK, a main dealer should have the appropriate kit, but anyone know of any indie in the Aylesbury Bucks area that might be able to help? Or any other pointers?

When my wifes 1999 one of those lost a good chunk of power it was the MAF....quite common on those. It was replaced with a pattern one (not by me)....that lasted 3 days!!....genuine one cured it!!

It should still have ODBII - But the port is under the bonnet, not the steering wheel
