1998 A-class engine cuts out at 70MPH

Hi everyone,

My friend was telling me how his car shuts off completely at 70 MPH and he receives no warning lights. All the lights on the dash and power cut out completely.

He has been to Mercedes, although according to him they can not find the problem.

Any ideas?
