I think it's going to sit and rust at that price.. ridiculous.

    Cheers,

    Interesting one.

I reckon the dealer doesn't know how to value it either, thus the 'chance your arm' asking price.

I believe the dealer is smoking whatever the doors are packed full of.....!!!

    Surely he's not serious

Hmmm 2620 miles in 19 years it should be in pristine condition.

Difficult one to price but I think he is very optimistic looking for £20k

There is no doubt that it is a very bonny looking car but £20k?

Sure, the slight "barn find" effect will add a premium but I just wonder how the discussion went when the dealer was haggling with the previous owner over the buying in price. I know when I experimented with part exing my SLK, which is for all intents a 2005 equivalent to this one, most dealerships either ran a mile or quoted way under.

Apparently it was owned by a local lady who used it to drive to the hair dressers once a week, if it was raining she went in a taxi!!
.......I bet the engine and drive train never reached operating temperature

    Regards all

Maybe it's a typo and meant to read £1995... :)
