The time has come to sell my C43. I've had it since July 2006 when it had 71,000 miles. It has now just turned 131,000 miles and has been my every day car since then.
It has done almost everything I've wanted in a car. Fast when required. Discreet. Comfortable.
It is MoT'd until early August this year and tax expires at the end of July.
Late last year it had a new set of Bridgestone tyres front and rear, as well as new wiper motor, heater fan motor, exhaust hangers and other sundries.
I do all my own servicing in my works classic car restoration workshops after hours.
Interior is quite nice, it has the silver and black Designo trim. Steering wheel shows usual signs of age. Has Sony in-dash mini-disc player with a 10 CD changer in the boot. Has folding mirrors and electric rear blind. I have a brand new spare rear door card in the garage as there was a small area of damage on one and this would be included with the car.
Tyres have plenty of life in them, my previous set lasted about 25,000 miles. Wheels could do with refurb at some point, but they are not kerbed or buckled.
Bodywork - there is evidence of some rust on bottom of a door and lower edge of bootlid. There was a small accident two years ago which was repaired by Mercedes in Norwich under insurance, using new rear bumper. The front bumper bar between the front fog lights has disappeared which is a shame.
Engine - healthy, has had new spark plugs recently and I change the oil and filter quite regularly. The car had a new radiator not so long ago. Crank position sensor was changed during my ownership, as was air flow sensor.
Am looking for £ 4,250
