1999 SL500 Seat Leather Color Code?

So when I pull up my VIN, it indicates my interior leather to be Leather Napa SAFFRON 234A

However, I am in the process of ordering new leather seats for my car and it seems that the supplier has SAFFRON 234 listed as a dark Tan color which is not what my car has.
They sent me samples and and it does not match, my car has a more creamy beige or parchment leather finish ( according to supplier )

I don't know what is going on, why would MB list my car as SAFFRON if the colors are different?
I attach a video I made comparing the sample colors to my seat.

Anyone here have an R129 with SAFFRON interior they can share? I need to see what SAFFRON really is.
