right got the 19s on my car and when i bought it at the dealer i noticed one had a very tiny bit of kerb damage and so they got the wheel sorted no problem.
Couple of days back I clipped something which has caused a similar amount of damage.
My local dealer seems to think these are diamond cut wheels and will have to be sent to a specilist wheel shop.
Are they diamond cut though .. no mention of it when I asked for the original fix from the selling dealer.
if anyone can shine any light on this i would be much obliged.

They probably are diamond cut although a photo would help.

They are a real pain as they seem to corrode naturally in about a year anyway with MB paying out for refurbs because of the complaints :bannana:

Any decent wheel refurb place (I use Lepsons) can repair them and some now offer a guarantee on diamond cut finishes which they didn't do a couple of years ago!

Definitely need a photo.

thanks fellas.
went to three places for some prices in and around chester and not one of them advised getting them re diamond cut.

The wheelspecialist
wants £408 for a black chrome finish or £456 for full chrome finish ,as near to diamond cut as I can get.

F1 alloys want £395 for a stright silver paint job
and
smart repair company want £312 for a stright silver spray job.

anyone had any dealings with any of the above or know if they offer discount.
I liked the wheelspecalist set upbut his price seems fair bit higher than one of the others and cash is abit tight at the mo.
