1st Birthday!

I have had the pleasure of owning my E Class Cab for just over a year now and what better than to treat it to some TLC for the year ahead!

Paintwork cleansed with AG HD Cleanser, followed by 3 layers of AG HD Wax over 3 days with 24 hours inbetween each layer... Should see this through to next year covering only 4000 miles in the last year and protection from its new car detail still showing...

nice!!!! the autoglym HD wax should last 6 months... not a year i think.....

nothing fancy with the pics, just raw images with "auto tone" in LightRoom which sorts out the lighting from the original shot. The key to the finish is prep work, not product used.

With regards to HD wax lasting a year, the only reason it did is because the car doesn't go out in the rain, nor did it go out much in the winter. My E-Cab is a proper garage queen!

I use HD wax on my daily driver (the CLS) where it lasts about 2 maybe 3 months at the most in the winter, and 4 pushing it to 5 in the summer. The CLS doesn't reside in the garage either, so is left on the drive

ps. The house is actually a pub near where I live, which seems to have closed just before christmas, and has been abandoned since. There is still christmas decorations inside and a sign saying "book your christmas party here" outside...
