Yes, yet another first MB thread!
I am hoping to collect my weekend's purchase - a 1986 300SL - in the next day or so.
Nearly bought a C220CDi Estate at the start of the year (but went with BMW 320d Touring instead), so the 300SL is my first ever MB.
It's a bit tatty; having looked at dozens and finding that they all needed some work to get them to how I'd like them, I realised that there was fun to be had in buying one a little tattier and spending time (and a little money) improving the car.
More pics etc whan I actually have the car!
