1. Would it cost a fortune to retrofit the 360 cameras and would it involve running a lot of extra wiring?
2. My car is a year old with just under 1k on it thanks to Covid lockdowns. I'm planning to get a local independent Merc specialist to do the first service then buy a service plan for 2 years to get it done at the dealers. Good plan?

To clarify... the difference between having the first A Service done at the dealer (without the plan) and at a specialist will be ~£100.

For that money, you risk a 'blight' on what would otherwise be a perfect service history, give rise to potential issues if there's a warranty claim (it gives MB more wriggle room), and lose Mobilo.

Far more sensible to have the first three services done at the dealer (with or without the MB Service Care Plan), and then move to specialist servicing. My view...

I paid for my first service at main dealers, then bought a 3 year service plan -- it then gives me two B services and is great value
