2 recommendations for servicing and bodywork in NW London

...for what it's worth I use George Fraser for servicing and Whitney's bodyshop in the Alperton/ Park Royal area and they always do me proud.

Case in point 1 - Oil was leaking from the engine rocker covers - MB wanted £300+ - George Fraser did this for FREE (resealed covers with Silicone)

Case in point 2 - MB wanted £440 to sort out my front bumper (the brackets at the edges were cracked so the edges hung down). Whitney's did this for £135 and did a full valet on the car.

I'd like to point out that I'd never use silicone for resealing rocker covers. Silicone sealant should not be needed.

Either the rocker cover gasket needs replacing or the rocker cover needs torquing down correctly. (I suspect the latter)

I only hope this silicone hasnt found its way into your oil galleries and/or blocked your filter.
