2000 CLK coupe window won't go down

Just wondering if anyone knew what the problem was, it seems as if the window gets stuck.

I wonder if the battery has recently been changed or gone flat whether a window reset would help?

motor sounds fine.

don't think it's the battery. Can you run me past the reset. Is it just, close the window, take finger off the window button, then hold the window button to close the window for 30secs?

It sounds like either the regulator is kaput or one of the bolts has come loose.

any idea on costs for those or other ideas.
