Hi there im new to the Forum and looking for a Bit of help
As above I have a 2000 Sprinter 313cdi
It will Start Run for 2 seconds then cut out
Code coming up as rail pressure monitoring Maximum pressure
Exceeded .I have checked o rings on solenoid on rail
And replaced filter. The EDC light stays on once engine is turned
Over but stays off if u reset Codes until the engine is started again
Can anyone help ??:fail

Think it was an Autel it was £2500 cant rmbr exactly but it is quite up to date

Either the pressure sensor has failed, the regulator solenoid has failed or the pump is using all three elements instead of only two.

I would probably go for the sensor first.

I have swapped the Sensor on the end of the rail at back of engine makes no difference engine Sounds fine when it runs I think there is only 1 Sensor on the rail

I take it the solenoid is the One I have swapped? Where is the pressure Sensor?

Solenoid is at the rear, sensor is at the front.

Also check the wiring in two places, one coming down thou the inlet mainfold and the other coming across the engine mount, normally with these sensor faults they don't start,
