Hi all,

We have just ordered a GL 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport for October delivery and so regretfully, my wife has ordered me to sell one of mine. I've decided to sell the C320 first as this one gets used the least. Then the B-Class will get sold just before I take delivery of the GL or just give it to MB for P/X.

This C320 is my cherished hobby car. It does not get used for commuting or shopping! I know everyone must say that buts its true in this case.

It is finished in Tansanite Blue with grey leather trim. It has had 3 previous owners (prior to me) since registration date 20/09/00. The previous owner had it from 25/04/03 until 06/03/11. It is taxed until 30th September 2013 and MOT expires 7th September 2013.

I have all paperwork for the car from previous services and all MOT certificates to verify the genuine mileage currently under 61,000 miles. There is the original invoice and PDI paperwork from the previous owner who purchased the vehicle from MB Epsom for £20,997.00.

There is full service history all from MB except my last service from Wright Tech. Last 2 services are 09/02/11 - MB Ascot at mileage 57,408 (£472.21) and at Wright Tech 08/09/12 at mileage 59,968 (£340.58). I have done less than 1000 miles since!

On 18/08/12, I purchased 2 brand new Falken front tyres (225/40/18) at a cost of £200. Again, these tyres have only done 1000 miles or so. The rears are Dunlop SP Sport 245/40/18 and all appear to be good.

I have the Mercedes black wallet with all manuals from new and a fully stamped up service book. I even purchased a brand new COMAND 2.0 manual from MB after I got the COMAND unit fitted. Also two keys (one black and one chrome).

The will attempt to list the extras that have been added to the car since my ownership (I may have missed some things!):

Eibach Pro-Kit lowering springs all round. These were fitted by Steve the Mechanic of Kent (known and used by members here)
Rear sunblind (purchased new from MB)
Rear sunblinds for both sides (purchased new from MB)
New MB carpet mats (These are grey velour and are still immaculate as they are protected by another set of grey ribbed MB mats)
Chrome pedals (purchased from MB)
COMAND 2.0 (Fitted by Alfie)
Multimedia interface which allows and device with RCA connection to display using the TV button on COMAND (fitted by Alfie)
Apple composite cable connected to RCA block for above which allows iPod connectivity to play music or iPod Touch/iPhone/iPod Classic to play movies/videos.
The genuine MB Carbon effect dash trim was installed to replace the old wood trim. This was not cheap and hard to source! It was fitted by Steve the Mechanic of Kent
The gearknob and leather gaiter from a late model W203 replaced the old knob. This cost £85 from Dronsfields. I still have the old gearknob in case the buyer prefers the old pre-facelift one
A genuine Brabus back box was installed. This was changed only because I wanted a nicer look. It is no louder than the stock back box it replaced
Because of the above, I purchased a genuine Brabus number plate holder from Germany
I also got a Chrome key (fully working but will need a new blade key cut - Cheap even from MB I believe but I never got round to getting this ordered. I will include a spare blade key from the older style black key instead)
18" genuine MB multispoke alloy wheels. These are not cheap and are the same as Mercedes alloy wheels | Genuine new 18" Mercedes Multi Spoke | fits Mercedes C Class Saloon W203 | Alloy Wheels Direct Ltd - I got these from another MB forum for £500
Genuine MB Valve caps :)
An iPod holder for the Glovebox - A genuine MB accessory which holds all models of iPod/iPhone securely in place (except iPhone 5)

I'll let the pictures do the talking...

I will try to post some more pics of the car when its been cleaned :)

The only bits I need to mention is that the passenger front window sometimes does not respond to the button. I assumed this was due to lack of use but if I open the passenger door and close it again, it works fine again. This shows that the mechanism is fine. The electrics appear to be OK also as it works fine after the door is opened/closed. Like I say this works fine otherwise.
There is a very tiny car park dent on the rear offside door. No paint damage. Its hardly noticeable to be honest but thought I would mention it. There is tiny bubbling on the offside rear arch. A couple of mm's maybe and the same on the edge of the bootlid. I don't think there is any more but I welcome viewings. I don't think you will be disappointed at all.

My asking price is just £2,500 as I would like a quick sale due to needing the space for when the GL arrives :thumb:

Thanks for looking. This is a lovely W203 indeed and is very well priced! I honestly do not think you can get any better for the money :)

Oh forgot to mention that I just got the Air Con done at Wright Tech so thats blowing ice cold too. This coupled with the rear blinds all round means the car is ready for family trips out for the Summer!

Thanks!
Steve

Offers invited close to asking price as my insurance has now expired and I don't want to renew for another year! Cheers :)

Just an update to show the bubbling issues that I mentioned above. Its really quite minor as you can see. Nothing bad at all for a 2000 model.

Offside rear wheel arch (all the other arches are rust free!)

Video of the nearside front window working (This is the issue where the button sometimes does not respond until you open and close the passenger door)

Electric window

Whatever the issue is can't be too bad as the mechanism/regulator is fine and the video clearly shows the electrics/switch are working too. The video was taken earlier today.

A couple of (good) things I forgot to mention:

The Electronic Ignition Switch (EIS) was replaced about 18 months ago by Steve the Mechanic at a cost of £660.

The Crankshaft Position Sensor was also renewed by Wright Tech about a year ago. Cost about £200.

The car drives lovely and the 3.2 V6 is powerful. The ride on the 18" alloys and the lowered suspension is not harsh. I would still say it's very comfortable and smooth. The Brabus back box is not loud either. It's as silent as the original I had before replacement. The back box alone retailed over £500. Condition of the Brabus unit is as new and the tailpipes are polished and mint.

Like I mentioned, the insurance has now expired so I have reduced the asking price accordingly.

New price: £2250.

The car can be viewed in Orpington, Kent.

Offers anyone before I advertise it outside of the forum?

Oh it's got heated folding mirrors too :)

Thanks for all the interest. The C320 has gone :(
