I have looked through a lot of forums on this but cannot find the answer. My headrests have gone to the upmost position and will now go back down. I am in France at present and now cannot open the hood as the headrests are locked.

I have tried the reset, hold button for 20 seconds etc but that does not work.
I have tried looking for a magical manual button down the side of the headrest but also to no avail. The headrests on my version seem to be integrated so not sure they would go down separately to each other.

Has anyone had a similar problem and can shed any light on this??
Thanks

Procedure in the manual is :-

Raise the rollover bar fully using the switch , then press bottom of the switch until the bar reaches bottom position , approx 20 secs

Turn key to pos 2

Raise the bar fully

Lower it fully

There is a fault if the light says lit with the engine running

You need to do the key thing as well as the switch thing

You are listening for the mechanism to disengage when you raise it fully initially

Thanks

Howard, thank you for your response.

I have tried that to no avail. I recently took the battery out to charge and I think something happened then as the head rests have been up ever since. I may have to wait til I get back to the uk to take not a dealership.
