2002 CL55 Clocks

Can someone please tell me if all pre-facelift CL55s have the word 'kompressor' below AMG on the rev counter ? The car I test drove today did, but I don't think it was a 'K' (2002, twin exhausts not quad and CL55 in the log book.

Probably had a broken cluster and replaced it with a second hand one.

Don't think any pre facelift cars would have 'Kompressor' on the dash when they aren't.

I expect it's had some new clocks in it , those clocks go wrong quite a lot.

So can I trust the odometer ? The service records and the last few MOT certificates seem to match

Good question, how do I find out ?

A new (or unrecognised) odometer has to be programmed to the car or it will display ----- as the mileage... As long as the mot history stacks up I wouldn't worry.

Thank you, that's put my mind at rest. Now I know it is the wrong one, I will have to get it changed, but it will do for now.
