Just bought a 2002 W163 (ML270) after my land rover rolled on the motorway with a trailer!!!...
Anyway, the 6 cd changer was not working, and after a bit of research on here, I took it apart, and after freeing the magazine.. It now works!..
So..
First question.. the head unit CD player wont accept a CD.. I can put it in part way.. but it comes to a stop.. Is there a micro switch or sensor that sees the cd, then it should get drawn in.. like a normal player?...
So I guess I need to take the head unit out, can I do this without special tools?
Next question.. are Aux inputs standard on the facelift 2002- ML's.. or do I need to search for a cable... maybe already in the loom somewhere?
Can anyone tell me what I need to get the TV working?.. don't think the tuner is fitted, can I just buy a dvb tuner from ebay?
Last but not least.. It doesn't have a Sat nav CD... what is the last revision for this model.. maybe an ebay link?
