2003 Vito Traveliner 108 Engine Transplant HELP

Hi Guys,

I have a 2003 Traveliner 108 CDi with a broken engine.

Does anyone no if I could transplant the engine out of a 99/2000 C220 Cdi??

Advice / help please?

I wouldnt of thought so although the basic lump is the same they vary for applications ie car vans etc

The C class is rear wheel drive, a 2003 Traveliner would be a 638 ... front wheel drive, transverse engine. So I suspect engine mountings etc. would be different if nothing else.

The engines are different, so you will need one out of a 638 Vito.

The actual block castings differ.

I know of someone breaking a complete Vito if that's any help.
