2004 (54) W211 E500 cutting out problem

Hi guys, I have a 54 reg W211 E500 estate which developed a strange issue a while back. On the whole the car drives fine but if accelerating harder, especially round a corner the car will cut out/lose power momentarily. It will almost always do it when giving it some round a bend and sometimes when pulling away from a standstill hard. I have had the car connected to a fuel pressure guage and test driven and it did not appear to lose fuel pressure when it cut out. Sometimes the cutting out will cause the car to jerk hard.

Can anyone help me shed any light on this?
