Hi Everyone.
My stepfather has a 2004 C270 CDI Avantgarde Estate that is in need of a new exhaust rear silencer.
The factory original currently on there has a part number A2034910300 but when he rang the local main stealer they reckoned this was the wrong number
but quoted him a price of just over £300 for the supposedly correct one.......
Looking online I have come across 2 different Eberspacher silencers that both seemingly fit the C270 CDI , but one is a supposedly 'sport' fitment.
The cheaper of the 2 (at around £140 delivered from Germany) is Part No 23.599.40 in the Eberspacher online catalogue whereas the 'sport ' version (part no 23.302.40) is almost £100 more expensive.
When I put the registration details of the car into the Euro Car Parts website the only exhaust they offered was the Eberspacher 23.599.40 at £211

German & Swedish said that they didn't even list an exhaust for this model.
I'm stumped as to whether the cheaper Eberspacher non-sport silencer will be OK?
