what are pros and cons of lowering links. Is lowering via star a better option. Which are the best lowering links to go for, and do they cause premature wear on rest of suspension components and alter ride drastically?

If not possible or Star doesn't give you what you required, links are a good cheap way of doing it instead.

Disadvantage is you can't adjust on the fly - you have to set them whilst the car is stationary.

Advantages are they are cheap and can easily be reversed.

I think if you adjust the geometry too much, you will see greater uneven tyre wear and things like wheel bearings have a harder life with things like too much negative camber.

AMGeed has had LLs for a while now and Alps ran a lowering module - so both of them can probably offer some insight...

I would try the STAR method first, if not, have you considered a lowering module?

I have personally used the STAR method to correct my uneven stock ride heights and I also run a Renntech lowering module.
