I’m looking to sell the E55 I bought from Roger (AMGed) on the 30/09/19 because we have found a house unexpectedly (viewed today) and looking to move out into the sticks so the ML320 I bought from Denis (E55BOF) is better suited to the lanes.
In addition, and based on the above, I’m now ‘under pressure’ to rationalise the cars we have!!
I bought this knowing that a few things needed doing on top of what had been sorted by Roger and having the Harman stereo plus changer, dynamic seats, electric blinds, secondary cat delete and X pipe she was what I was looking for.
So with the intention of running her for a while (my 3rd E55) I started the process of getting her where I wanted, I passed her through my local MB service centre Waterhouse for inspection and had to have the following sorted;-
1) New rear tyres (one was split)
2) Replaced rear wheels (rim cracked)
3) Diff seals replaced (leaking)
4) Centre coupling replaced.
5) NSF air suspension leg replaced with OEM part (rest checked fine)
6) NSF upper ball joint replaced.
7) Both rear discs and pads replaced
8) Heated seats repaired.
9) Both rearview mirrors replaced and now fully functional
10) Removal of the lowering links (just a bit hard for me) with lowering links included
11) New fuel pump with seals & tank fully checked
In addition, the engine was serviced as was the gearbox so with the above, the entire drivetrain has been serviced with new oils etc!
All the above was done by MB so is under warranty with receipts
The Old Parrot removed and stereo sorted as it was interfering with the radio, the interior leather cleaned, coloured restored and fed with Glipsons so now it looks like new and I have removed the window tints to the drivers and passenger front windows as I thought when driving at night it was difficult to see, I even bought a boot liner.
The only outstanding items are the Keyless go and the slight damage to the OSR wheel arch and I have been quoted £400
The above has cost me over £3000 (I know but I was keeping her) I’m not looking to be greedy so I’m looking for £10,495 ONO, somebody will get a well-sorted E55 with a full tank of fuel post the fuel pump test!
MOT is 04/06/2020 and the hard to find Viseeo MB3000 bluetooth adapter will come with the car. The road tax is the lower rate £315 pa. I have 2 working keys and the V5 is now my name. Manual for E55 and for the Comand is present
