2005 C coupe glovebox ? Light an jack socket ?

Just got a C Coupe 2.5 C230 the glovebox light was not working so prised out the lamp holder and to my surprise there is no connector or lead. Had side panel off so can see better but there nothing there ?
Also there is a mini jack socket inside the glovebox the lead goes down towards the floor but have no idea what its for as the audio is a basic Audio 20 unit no aux button.

Hope someone might tell me whats going on.

Hold down CDC button for a few seconds to select AUX.

Not sure whether lights were wired in on all C coupe or not ...

Thanks found the aux in on the audio 20 thou the light is a bit of a mystery.
