2005 c220 cdi diesel 'sports mode'

when my newly purchased car is in comfort mode mode it has a very firm ride as if it's in sport mode,in fact there seems no difference,I am wondereing even though the dash says its on comfort mode it's not.coule a fuse /relay have gone ?does anyone now which fuses/relays are involved please.

I'm fairly sure comfort/sport just to do with the gearbox, and makes no difference to the ride.

Sports just means it'll rev higher before a change. It doesn't do anything to the suspension/ride of the car at all.

It also starts the car in 2nd gear (well on mine it does). Used to be called Winter Mode.

You need airmatic to control the suspension.
