No, apparently not, though it will log a code.

Hi,had a feedle with the car again,struggled to start cold first time though started after after some struggling.So kept it running for half an hour or so to get to the running temp 80c may bit more,and after that it would really struggle to start.
As per your advice looked at rev needle and on cranking it just lays dead until engine starts.
So its cps?
Although guys on other forum think it may have something to do with fuel system.

Yes. If you take the car to an indy, they will check the fault codes logged and confirm its your CPS that needs replacing.

The CPS is on the rear n/s of the engine above the starter motor on the gearbox bell housing.
