Hi All,

Germany is calling! :D
It's been a while since we done a German GTG, and speaking to a few forum members it's time to start planning the next one...

If numbers are good, we have the opportunity to visit the BRABUS factory and Nürburgring in a three/four day top-notch excursion.

Leaving from Calais via Euro tunnel sometime in March/April for a three/four day trip to Germany. Stopping in the Doriant near the Nürburgring for two nights, then driving to Botrop to visit Brabus for a good look around, (and maybe the odd test drive I’ve heard), and staying the night. Then the return trip home giving you a chance to test out your motors on the German Autobahn!!

We need to get a feel of numbers, so if you are interested, let us know below. We can then finalise the details. Numbers limited to 20 cars.

Estimated cost of trip: £350 plus petrol and food. (car/hotel share is fine)

I am sure the other members that have been on the last two German trips will share their experiences, but it really is a trip to remember. A very good blend of Germany's finest roads, the finest Mercedes and excellent accommodation. Oh - lets not forget the company of fellow forum members!

just remember that the nurburgring is nowhere near nurNburg (which has a big sign on the main road in from the autobahn saying "RING --->" which if you follow takes you round in circles)

damhikijkok ;)

Guy, you made me laugh.

I really do find that almost everybody thinks that I holiday at a circular road in Germany. General public seem to think that the Nordeschliefe is the Nuremberg Ring.

:-)

To any people who have not been on the previous trip - this is a once in a lifetime opportunity (except this will be my thrid trip). Doesn't matter what the weather is doing, this is great.

Also, I have now stayed in the Dorint at the actual F1 track - very nice and decent prices if the timing is right. A little more convenient that the Koblenz site. Also you can wake in the morning and tune the tv into track cam to see the cars whizzing around. Great tool to see if the track is open.

Id love to guys, but wedding plans for next year will squeeze all my funds... have fun!

Reschedule the wedding. This is far more important.

With the looming threat of the Autobahn speed limits.......

What is the total mileage on this trip likely to be? I need to see if me and the car will be able to cope.
