Even though I love the drive there, I think that the pricing for renting+flying is pretty darn good. And a 320ps Porsche for about £109 per day is pretty good, and the excess mileage is fine by me.

Also, as it's not my car I won't care about tyres, etc.

July would be much better for me too as I (hopefully) won't have as much in the way of work commitments then - though I'm also looking at the possibility of going in August and combining it with a Bookatrack day at Spa on 24th or 25th August. Think the Ring is open all day for tourist drives on 28th and 29th so we were thinking of combining the two, as the circuits are only about an hour apart

Hi, I was just checking in as its getting nearer the 21st which is when I thought it was all set for? I see there's been a lot of debate over the dates, I can do the 28th-31st May, but need to know asap to move the time I've booked off work. Do we have a definate date now?

Matt will be able to advise - but I don't think there are enough people able to make it in May, to be a viable trip.

Sorry guys for the delayed response. I've been trying to pull things together for the May trip, however in the end with the people dropping out it's not really going to be viable.

The one thing about these trips are the people that go on them, and whilst with 5 or 6 people it's still 'doable' it just wouldn't be the same!

SO..... What I propose is that we shift this forward a couple of months to June/July time frame. At least the weather will be more predicable and we have a good few months to organise the dates with all concerned.

I'll do a new poll and we can take it from there......

We'll get the Germany eventually!!!
