After 12 years, I’ve decided to replace my trusty 2005 W203 C230 2.5L V6 Avantgarde SE Estate. The vehicle is fitted with the Sports Pack (sports seats, larger cross drilled brakes, 17” wheels, lowered / upgraded suspension and sports exhaust), 7 G-Tronic gearbox, full leather interior and heated front seats. It also has a Parrot Bluetooth kit, privacy tints and tow bar.

The vehicle was previously owned by MB and registered to an employee. I acquired it within its first 12 months of life with 7000 miles on the clock. It has never missed a beat or failed to start apart from a faulty coil pack.

It has a full service history from the same MB specialist apart from one MB service. All the 7 G-Tronic gearbox hardware / software updates were completed by MB in the first year that I owned it. The vehicle also had a new differential fitted by MB when they wrecked the pinion bearings of the original diff when replacing the front oil seal during the warranty period. The vehicle has just completed 145,000 miles and passed its MOT last week with flying colours. There was an advisory on the front tyres wearing on the edges but (like my wife’s SLK) has always done this. Front tyres are half worn and the rears are relatively new Nexens. The geometry was properly set up by the guys at Wheels in Motion several years ago so no pulling to the left unlike most MB’s of its era.

The vehicle has been meticulously maintained. Last ‘A’ service completed in February 2018 at which time new air filters were fitted (7000 miles until ‘B’ service). New front coil springs fitted in March 2018, front brake discs (Brembo) and new N/S calliper fitted in March 2017 (a piston was found to be sticking). A new Bosch mass air flow sensor was also fitted in November 2015 which completely transformed the performance and fuel economy. I have all the original receipts, MOTs and tax discs!

The vehicle is in excellent condition for its age (it needs a good clean after the weather this week) and there are no dents / dings or problems with the bodywork apart from the usual stone chips. I would be happy to have the vehicle valeted for any prospective buyer.

I’m looking for £1900 and am really keen that it finds a good home. Please PM me if you’re interested / want more info.
