Jaguar X-type Estate SE 3.0L V6 AWD Auto
2005 (55 Registration) – lower road tax as pre 2006
Dark metallic blue with cream leather interior and 17 inch alloy wheels
Mileage is just 68,500, and it has a Full Service History, with 12 months MOT just put on it
Car has been owned by my father for 10 plus years, but he has now stopped driving and I have been asked to sell it.
Car has only covered 1,100 miles in the last year.
In his care it has been annually serviced by a local Jaguar specialist (Beechdown near Paignton) apart from this year when the (very) local Ford dealer serviced it for him
Car drives smoothly, the auto gearbox shifts seamlessly and there is sufficient go and grip from engine and all wheel drivetrain.
The leather interior is in good condition with no rips and tears, carpets are in excellent condition with 4 heavy Duty Jaguar over mats supplied (also in good condition)
All the electrics work, the climate control is cold, the 4 windows, mirrors and parking sensors are all functional as is the Radio and CD multichanger.
The outside does have a few age related marks and light scratches visible when up close (which a DA polisher or even T Cut would deal within the main) although there is a scrape over the nearside rear wheel arch that might need some paint, dependent on the finish sought.
The rear has rarely been sat in and the boot is both dry and clean with the split rear door as useful as ever (with the load cover also in place)
With no accident damage, it’s a reasonably spacious, comfortable, low mileage 15-year-old capable cruiser or even winter hack with the 4WD.
The tyres are in very good condition to plenty of grip and life left in them – it is supplied with both functioning keys and the usual paper work
I'll post on here as whilst its not got a three pointed star on it (and does have some Mondeo genes in it) its not a 'run of the mill' X-Type and may appeal to someone who would like this combination of engine, AWD and condition, for the money (or could just use a fast and useful addition to their fleet....)
