2007 320cdi judder

Starts from cold every time, runs (to my mind) perfectly until first stop and switch off, can be local trip 3-5miles, or longer journey, 50-60 miles. Then on restart revs to 1500 or so and judders at that....has been taking anything between 15 mins & 60 mins before it will start and run without that juddering. Engine light is on throughout! Ideas welcome please.

You need a code scan first. Anything else will be a guess

The Check Engine Light is on from first start or when the poor running starts?

As said , you need to get it scanned and go from there.

Ensure its scanned using a STAR MB Diagnostic computer and no other.
