2007 W211 parking brake question

Hi, can anyone please tell me if access to the parking brake cable" junction" (for want of a better description) on my car is under the rear seat or would I have to access it from under the car.

It will be from under the car.

Make sure the car is cold as you will need to undo a piece of heatshield and you will be reaching around the exhaust to manipulate the junction.

id adjust the rear shoes before tightening any cables .
