Hi Guys!
I recently purchased a 2008 c220 cdi estate, and it came with a 2016 gla wheel. Which was on the old column so didnt work. I went about putting the old steering wheel back on, and in the process the squib ribbon came out and broke.
I have since bought a new column and wheel, although the column is slightly different from a 2009 clk (no rear wiper) all the indicators work, so does cruise control, but the steering wheel buttons/horn does not work. All the buttons are lit up, and im also getting a front airbag malfunctions.
Have you guys got any ideas what this could be? will the buttons work after a reset? or do I need to code it to get it working. Its such a pain as even the horn doesnt work, but the buttons and wheel is getting power. If this doesnt work I may have to order the exact column that came off.
