I've tried, how I've tried, to get on with WIS, but I'm not of the computer generation and I just can't get the hang of it.

My '08 CLK 'vert has the one-piece A-pillar trims, and I need to remove the LH one to fit a DAB aerial. I've looked on the internet, but all I've found is the information for pre-facelift coupes, and mine is neither. Could some kind soul post either a link to, or the appropriate instructions from WIS for, this job? I will be forever in your debt...

I have had the A pillar trims of my coupe................ They are held on with some pretty heavy duty clips that require a decent trim tool and some wiggling/tugging to free them. They should just pull of once you get the tool close to the clips. I had a couple of kittens and some pups when I did mine 🐩🐩🐩🐩🐩

No clips needing a trim tool on the 'vert, perhaps; I found an identical part to mine on Ebay, and there's a lug for a securing screw or bolt on the inner side at the top, and the mountings for the two clips that are found on the coupe are not there either.

If you have an airbag sign on the trim, try removing that, there is a screw underneath it. Torx 20.

No airbag, but this is the trim piece, and the lug for the screw is there all right;:

Thank you for that. No airbag, but this is the trim piece, and the lug for the screw on the inner side of the A-pillar is there all right:
