Hi, not really a new member, couldn't remember my password and to reset needed a gmail account for reset so found it easier to start again.
My new to me w211 220cdi Avantgarde estate is intermittently showing a car with upward arrow symbol on dash. I remember replacing the spheres on the s210 I had before but have got the impression the self levelling is now air operated, its been Baltic outside since so haven't got around to looking at it yet.
Will my car have all four air shocks or just rears and do the fronts if I have them have air pipes on front turrets as a way to check?
I also have formed the impression through internet trawls that leaks are possibly the main issues.
So is this just a pneumatic system comprising metric piping and fittings or have Mercedes made things difficult to repair?
