I've recently bought a w211 with command and navigation, it's got the little secret compartment, but I'd rather have the 6 disc changer in there (as getting Bluetooth streaming looks difficult /expensive).
The question is... How difficult is it to do?
I've seen second hand changer units with the switch panel, on a popular auction site, Is it possible to swap the switch panels over so it matches?
Is the car prewired, or will I need a loom, fibre, power and control I guess?
Will the command unit need coding and how is that done?
Lots of questions I know, but any help is gratefully received.
