on a W124 estate?
yes pretty easy but you need to drill holes for the mounting bolts to go through. the actual bars bolt onto each side of the boot inside the car.
you also need to remove and possibly (depending on bar design) cut a small slot in the very bottom of the bumper.
wiring is also easy enough
