Hi folks,

We are selling our E Class estate. The car is simply superb; we are only selling it as our eldest has gone off to University and I am finally being allowed to get a cabriolet ;-)

Next week we will be cleaning up the car to take photos, but I thought I would post up to see if there is any interest. We have been offered a part exchange value of £6800 but this is too good a car to send off to auction as a part exchange; I would much rather a forum member has her!

The car has 104500 miles on it and has a full service history, initially at main dealers and then at our own forum members PCS in Waterlooville and then Wayne Gates in Harrow, both superb specialists. We have looked after this car

The car is available in Sudbury in NW London. We will only accept confirmed bank transfer or cash in person. We will not allow test drives unless the driver provides proof of insurance and leaves a deposit of the full value of the vehicle; otherwise I can take you for a spin. The firm price is £7000, not a penny less — offers will not be accepted.

Apologies to all those waiting for photos (I didn’t realise there would be this much interest!). I will reply to all PMs, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to take photos today. It was raining heavily until quite late here in London, and I need either a wheelchair or crutches to get outside. Here’s a snapshot from the doorway in the evening after the rain stopped. I will try to do better tomorrow!
